Shelley is a sophomore at Seven Lakes and plays the viola in the Sinfonia orchestra.

She wants to help people realize that the simple things we do in life are what set us apart from each other, causing all of us to "shine" in our own way.

Shelley has always loved flowers, especially irises and roses.

Her thoughts on the process: "This was my first real experience painting with acrylic; I'm usually a watercolor person.... I've always preferred traditional Renaissance-style art over modern art."
