
Eva Currie was raised in Dallas, Texas by watercolor artist and mother Jane Currie. Eva studied at Kilgore Junior College and earned an Associate's degree in Commercial Advertising. She started her career by designing corporate logos, souvenir t-shirt designs, and working with sportswear companies. Choosing to freelance design, Eva worked and traveled to South Florida, Central America, Alaska, New York, and England were she was involved with a variety of art projects.
Now a resident of Houston, she has been a muralist for 12 years and painting commercial and residential properties. Ms. Currie is an instructor of arts to all ages, holds a position in the Katy Area Art League, she also is a volunteer at Texas Children's Hospital Art program, and Texas Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.
Her art can bee seen in banks, golf resorts, corporate companies, schools, churches, and private collections. Eva's artwork is represented by the Muir Fine Art Gallery.
Eva C. Currie, also know as Carrie Currie, a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, is a commission artist in Katy, Texas.
