The Color of Music by Diana Miller Painted with acrylic |
|
As a child Diana loved art but not having a sense of direction never developed her God given talent. Creativity remained a part of her life whether by painting a center piece for her child’s birthday party, painting a ceiling, gardening, or sewing a costume. Around the time her last child was about to leave for college she asked for painting classes for a Christmas present. Shortly after that she joined the Fort Bend Art League where she found new friendships, encouragement, and mentoring. Through the art league fellow artist helped her to explore oils, which she enjoys most. Diana says "I have been painting regularly for about a little over a year, fully aware I have a lot to learn. I love to paint and bring excitement and happiness to each piece I create. This piece is called “The Color of Music”, cool colors blend and blur through the sweet sound of contentment and beauty that the violin brings us.
